​ I am a 2013 graduate from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor in Arts and Sciences. While at UT, I was majoring in communication, with a focus in broadcast journalism.

I have previously worked as producer, lead anchor, and reporter for UT:10 News. During my senior year of college I was a reporter for ESPNU Campus Connection and commentator for Buckeye Cable Sports Net. I have previously interned in the news department at WTVG-13abc, Toledo, Ohio, and was hired as a broadcast technician after completing my internship. In the spring of 2011, I moved to Washington, D.C. and spent a semester studying at The Washington Center and working as a production intern for Double R Productions.

As a reporter for UT:10 News, I have received awards from the Society of Professional Journalists for breaking news coverage, as well as recognition from the Ohio Associated Press Broadcasters. During my internship at Double R Productions, I was given the opportunity to interview members of the U.S. Congress while shooting a public service announcement for the National Association of Broadcasters.

In my spare time I enjoy running, reading, and spending time on my family farm in Monroe, MI. I love watching sports and cheering on my Detroit Tigers and Toledo Rockets! If you can't find me in the gym or covering stories around campus, I'm probably with my youth group at Crossroads Community Church!
